The Department of Justice announced that they have indicted 2 Soviet hackers responsible for thousands of cyber attacks. Polish authorities arrested Yaroslov Vasinkyi, a 22 year old Ukrainian national, last month. The other indictment is for 28 year old Russian national Igoryevich Polyanin, who allegedly launched over 3,000 cyber attacks. The D.O.J. said that the United States have recovered more than $6 million in ransom from the arrests.
