6:46 AM: The price of Russian Bonds fell over 50%.

7:13 AM: Russian forces targeted downtown Kharkiv with missiles, killing civilians to demoralize the resistance. The 40 mile long convoy is still moving toward Kyiv.

7:23 AM: The Nigerian government has condemned racist treatment of Africans fleeing Ukraine. 4,000 Nigerians, mostly students, are stranded in the country

8:17 AM: At least 7 people were killed in a blast in the central part of Kharkiv near the administrative building. A day after the city was hit hard with shelling.

11:45 AM: The United States and the IEA have agreed to release 60 million barrels of oil to slow the rise of oil prices after the Russian invasion.

12:44 PM: The main television tower in Kyiv was destroyed with a thermobaric vacuum bomb which is not allowed under international law. The bomb even destroyed a holocaust memorial and a business building.

6:02 PM: Reports are coming in that Russia is constantly targeting civilians to try to demoralize the resistance. Children are among the growing numbers of civilians death, particularly in the capital city of Kyiv.

8: 03 PM President Joe Biden is scheduled to announce in his State of the Union speech that the United States will close the U.S. airspace to Russian airplanes.

10:55 PM: In his first State of the Union speech, President Joe Biden vowed that Russian President Vladimir Putin would pay a price for the Russian invasion of Ukraine and that Putin “badly miscalculated” the invasion.
