10/13/2021-Parsons, KS, a fisherman caught a 4 foot 6 inch alligator gar. The fish is a prehistoric predator fish which dates back 100 million years. The 39.5 pound fish was caught in the Neosho River and it’s never been seen in Kansas before now.
