Harris County, TX- Three brothers were found abandoned in an apartment on Sunday after the eldest, 15 years old, called authorities asking for a welfare check. Their mother, 35 year old Gloria Williams, and her boyfriend, Brian W. Coulter, have been arrested. The brothers have been living in the apartment with the decaying body of their 9 year old brother for more than a year. The living brothers were malnourished with injuries, and the 7 year old had facial fractures. Williams is charged with injuring a child with omission and tampering with a human corpse. Coulter beat the boy to death and the couple moved out afterwards. The 31 year old Coulter is facing murder charges. The deceased brother died as a result of blunt force injuries, the autopsy revealed.
