Wheeling, IL- Police arrested a person of interest in the murder of 21 year old Ja’nya Murphy and the kidnapping of her 1 year old daughter.
Construction workers found the body of a young girl (who could possibly be the missing girl) in a retention pond off the I-80 and Kennedy Ave. exit in northwest Indiana this afternoon.
The girl’s body found in Indiana has been verified as that of the missing Wheeling girl, Jaclyn Dobbs.
11/12-Wheeling, IL- Ahmeel Fowler, 26, has been charged with the first degree murder of the mother, Ja’nya Murphy.
