Cape Canaveral, FL- NASA launched a spacecraft whose sole purpose is to crash into an asteroid. This is a test to see if the spacecraft can alter its course. The spacecraft will travel around the sun and crash into the asteroid, named Dimorphos, which will be traveling 15,000 m.p.h. next year.
