Major League Baseball’s Golden Days Committee has elected 6 new members to the Hall of Fame on the July 24, 2022 induction ceremony.

Buck O’Neal batted .258-9hrs-175Rbi. O’Neal died in 2006 but was always for the Black ballplayers. He spent 8 decades in baseball on or off the field.

Gil Hodges hit .273-370hrs-1274rbi as a player and a record of 650-753 as a manager. Hodges died in 1972.

Minnie Minoso batted .299-195hrs-1093rbi with 2110 hits. Minoso died in 2015.

Tony Oliva hit .304-220hrs-947rbi.

Jim Kaat pitching record was 283-237, 3.45era, 2461k 25 seasons.

Bud Fowler was the first Black professional baseball player. Fowler played pitcher, third base and second base.
