Legendary comic actress Betty White has died at the age of 99. White got her big break co-hosting Al Jarvis’ variety show in 1949. The next year she led her own show, Life with Elizabeth. White went on to play Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. She played one of mama’s daughters on The Carol Burnett Show and then on Mama’s Family. Then White hit the mark again as Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls. In her later years, she continued working in Lake Placid, Proposal, Hot in Cleveland, Community, Boston Legal, Saturday Night Live, Bold and the Beautiful, John Larroquette Show, and other works as well.
