Nadia Popovicia informed Canucks assistant equipment manager Brian Hamilton to get a mole checked in October. Hamilton listened to her warning and had it examined. It proved to be a malignant melanoma. When the team returned to Seattle Hamilton placed messages online to find her to thank her.
