Kazakhstan: Civil unrest has erupted after the country lifted the price cap on gasoline which caused the price to double. The country’s government has resigned over this, and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev issued a state of emergency. Dozens of citizens have died as authorities tried to move back protesters after days of unrest. Dozen police officers were killed. Troops from other former Soviet states have arrive to assist local troops.
