Ottawa, Can.: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked an emergency law for the first time in 50 years to put an end to anti-goverment protests that have paralyzed Ottawa and American border crossings. The protestors have been protesting against Canada’s Covid-19 restrictions. The law would allow the temporary suspension of civil liberties and declares the protests illegal which allows them to tow the vehicles that are blocking roads and bridges.
