A jury found Eric Kay, former Los Angeles Angels communications director, guilty of supplying Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs the fentanyl that resulted in the pitcher choking on his own vomit in a suburban Dallas hotel room in July 2019. He was found guilty of distributing fentanyl and oxycodone since some time in 2017. Kay, 47, faces a minimum 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
