New York, NY: Former Hall of Fame NHL head coach and hockey player, Emile “The Cat” Francis has died at the age of 95. Francis was a General Manager for the Rangers from 10/1964 until 1/1976 and coached the team part of 10 seasons. His record as the head coach of the Rangers was 342-209-103. He was the St. Louis Blues general manager from 1976-1983 and had 2 stints as the head coach with a record of 46-64-14. Francis was the general manager for the Hartford Whalers from 1983-1989. Francis went into the NHL Hall of Fame in 1982 as a builder. He was 5 foot 7 and played 95 games as a goalie with a record of 32-52-10 with a 3.75 goals against playing with the Chicago Blackhawks and the New York Rangers
