4:18 AM: A United States official said that Russia has used a mystery munition. The Iskander-M short range ballistic missiles are releasing a previously unknown decoy. The decoy is designed to evade air defense systems.
5:05 AM: The leaders of the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia announced that they will travel to Kyiv, Ukraine to show the European Union’s support for Ukraine.
6:15 AM: White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullvian issued a direct warning of future consequences if they assist Russia in their invasion of Ukraine. Sullivan met with his Chinese counterpart in Rome, Italy, yesterday.
6:45 AM: The 400,000 people who are still in Mariupol, Ukraine are dealing with no heat, no food and no clean water.
6:55 AM: The American behind Papa John’s restaurants in Russia is not leaving the country.
7:02 AM: An anti-war protestor and editor of Russia’s Channel 1 tv, Marina Ovsyannikova stormed on air of the evening news behind the anchorwoman holding up a sign which read, “Stop the war. Don’t believe the propaganda. They are lying to you.” She was arrested and could get 15 years in prison under a new law.
7:40 AM: The United States has added 11 Russian officials and weapon industry figures to their list of people getting sanctions imposed on them because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The European Union has agreed of a 4th round of sanctions against Russia as well.
12:24 PM: Pierre Zakrzewski, a Fox News camerman, was killed on Monday outside of Kyiv, Ukraine. Zakrzewski’s vehicle was attacked by gunfire. He had been in Ukraine since last month and was a veteran war reporter.
12:45 PM: Russia has imposed sanctions against President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, other top United States officials, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Biden’s son Hunter.
