7:50 AM: Russia bombed a theater in southern Ukraine. Ukrainian civilians had been using the theater as a shelter. Hundreds are trapped inside.
9:14 AM: The advister to the ministry of Internal Affairs, Vadim Denisenko said that 90% of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol has been damaged or destroyed by Russian bombs. Almost every building has some evidence of the Russian attack. The word children was spelled out in large letters on the ground on either side of the theater so the pilots saw the word before firing on the theater.
9:49 AM: Some survivors have crawled out of the Ukrainian theater hit by the air strike. Authorities are working to rescue hundreds of civilians trapped in the theater’s basement.
3;45 PM: In Chernihiv, Ukraine, the United States State Department has confirmed that a U.S. citizen was killed in a Russian attack on the city.
