The United States Justice Department charged 47 people with stealing almost $250 million from pandemic aid programs which were intended to feed children in Minnesota. The nonprofit organization was a scam to claim reimbursements for meals which were never given out to the children. They allegedly used the millions to purchase houses, jewelry, luxury cars and resort properties abroad.
