Lima, Peru: Peru’s Congress has voted to remove President Pedro Castillo hours after he attempted a coup by trying to dissolve the legislature to avoid his impeachment. Castillo and his family was seen on local television leaving the presidential palace. Vice President Dina Boluarte was scheduled to be sworn in as president of the country this afternoon
