The Georgia Bulldogs are the first team in playoff history to score 17 points in the first quarter and lead 38-7 at halftime. They are the third team in the history of college football to win the national championship in back to back seasons: Nebraska Cornhuskers 1994-95 & Alabama Crimson Tide 2011-12.
