Athens, Ga.: Georgia offensive lineman for the national championship team, Devil Willock, 20, and team support staff member Chandler LeCroy, 24, were killed in a single-vehicle car crash. 2 other members of the football program are in stable condition. The accident occurred just hours after the victory parade in Athens. The vehicle left the highway and hit 2 power poles and also some trees around 2:45am.
Updated 6:12pm: Georgia offensive tackle Warren McClendon, 21, was also injured in the crash. Yesterday, McClendon declared himself entering the NFL Draft. The other passenger injured was Victoria Bowles, 26, who is on the recruiting staff. Both of them are in stable condition.
