Cooperstown, NY: Ex-third baseman Scott Rolen was the lone player voted into Baseball’s Hall of Fame. Rolen got 76.3% of the votes from the Baseball Writer’s Association of American to go in the 2023 class in Cooperstown this summer. Rolen hit .281, 2077 hits, 316 home runs, 1287 rbis & 18 stolen bases. He was a 7 time all-star, played 17 years and was on the 2006 St. Louis Cardinals World Series team. He played with the Phillies, Cardinals, Blue Jays and Reds. Former first baseman Todd Helton was just 11 votes shy of getting in this year’s class.
