Helena, MT.: After an impassioned speech on the House floor regarding the bill banning hormone treatments and surgeries on Transgender people, State Representative Zooey Zephyr was banned from participating on the Montana House floor for the 2023 session. Zephyr is the first openly transgender woman elected to the state’s legislature. She will be allowed to vote remotely.
