Helena, MT.: Gov. Greg Gianforte signed the bill passed by the state’s legislature to ban transition care for transgender minors. Gianforte had been urged by his nonbinary son to not sign the bill. Earlier in the week, Montana’s Republican-controlled state House banned a transgender lawmaker from the House floor after passionate speech on the floor of the house during the debate.
