According to her spokesman, legendary singer Tina Turner has died at the age of 83. Turner, who began her career as one half of the duo Ike & Tina Turner, sang the legendary soul-rock gems Proud Mary, River Deep, Mountain High, What’s Love Got to Do With It, Private Dancer, The Best, and many others. She also was the lead actress in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. The movie What’s Love Got to Do With It was about her tumultuous romance with former husband Ike Turner.
