Miami, FL.: Former president Donald Trump has been indicted on 37 charges. Among the charges this includes 31 counts of Espionage Act violations, in relation to special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into his alleged mishandling of classified documents taken from the White House as he left to go to his Mar-a-Lago estate.
The U.S. Department of Justice released the 49-page indictment. In the indictment, it details that Trump stored boxes of classified documents in various locations around his estate. Among the classified documents were top secret records detailing other nation’s nuclear capabilities. It also had detailed information regarding defensive and offensive weapons capabilities of the United States and our allies. The documents also contained potential vulnerabilities of the U.S. and its allies to military attack, U.S. nuclear programs, and also plans for potential retaliation in response to attack.
