A submarine with 5 tourist onboard has disappeared in the North Atlantic while on a trip to see the wreck of the Titanic. A search-and-rescue is intensifying. The U.S. Coast Guard Northeast is searching for the 21-foot submersible, the Canadian research vessel Polar Prince, around 900 miles east of Cape Cod, Mass. The Coast Guard tweeted on Twitter, “submerged Sunday morning, and the crew of the Polar Prince lost contact with them approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes into the vessel’s dive.”
