Hurricane Hilary has grown in intensity to being a category 4 hurricane. The storm is headed toward southwestern California and the southwestern United States. Some predictions are estimating a year’s worth of rain could hit California, Arizona & Nevada. The tropical storm watch is in effect from the California-Mexico border to the Orange County-Los Angeles County line and for Catalina Island, something the National Hurricane Center said is a first for this area.
