The American Embassy has urged Americans to leave Haiti, “as soon as possible.” The reason is the Haitian gangs have created dangerous situations, where kidnapping and attacks are happening too frequently which is creating infrastructure and security problems. The country has asked for an international force to help stabilize the country, which hasn’t led to anything as of yet.
