Washington, D.C.: The U.S. House of Representatives passed a last minute spending bill to keep the federal government open for business fo 45 days. The bill now heads to the Senate for a vote on the bill. The bill includes more domestic disaster relief aid but no additional money for Ukraine.
Updated 9pm: The U.S. Senate has passed the bill which would keep the federal government open until mid-November. The President is expected to sign it.
Updated 11:30pm: President Joe Biden signed the bill into law to keep the government working until mid-November.
