Jacksonville, FL.: Officials have said that a 5 year old North American bear escaped an exhibit at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens Wednesday afternoon. The bear attacked a zookeeper, and had to be shot and killed by the zoo’s lethal weapons crew. The zookeeper wounds are not considered to be life threatening.
