Laurel County, KY- A North Carolina teenager, who has been missing since Thursday, used hand signals known “to represent violence at home-I-need help-domestic violence”, authorities said. On an Interstate highway in Kentucky, she caught the attention of a driver using the gestures popularized on TikTok. The police arrested 61 year old James Herbert Brick, from Cherokee, NC, and charged him with unlawful imprisonment and possession of material showing a sexual performance by a minor over the age of 12 but younger than 18. He’s being held at the Laurel County Correctional Center on a $10,000 cash bond. The teenager’s parents reported her missing Thursday afternoon in Asheville, NC.
