Last month we reported that the current White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki violated the Hatch Act for campaigning from the White House Press Room for Terry McAuliffe’s bid for Virginia’s Governor race.

Now reporting fairly, the United States Office of Special Counsel have issued a report that 13 senior former President Trump’s Administration’s senior officials violated the Hatch Act. They actively campaigned for former President Trump’s 2020 reelection bid. And 2 violated it during the 2020 Republican Convention. These officials are former White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway, Trump senior advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien, Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, White House advisor Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Press Secretary Brian Morgenstern, then Vice President Pence’s Chief of Staff Marc Short, White House Communication Director Alyssa Farah and U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeii violated the Hatch Act released a pre-recorded video at the 2020 Republican Convention after he told his employees to “not improperly engage the Department of State in the political process.” Former Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf’s violation came from a naturalization ceremony he officiated was videotaped and shown during the convention. Wolf says it occurred without his knowledge or permission.
