The FDA has authorized a new Covid-19 monoclonal antibodies that work against the omicron variant. The antibodies are laboratory made proteins that mimic the immune system’s ability to fight harmful pathogens like Covid-19. Eli Lilly and Company made bebtelovimab, the monoclonal antibody, to be given as intravenous injections.
