8:14 AM: Russia’s recent military deployment to assist Belarus will be extended. The United States warned that Russia could us it as a pretext to build a invasion force to be used in Ukraine. Russia was supposed to pull out of Belarus over the weekend, but their defense minister said that both countries would continue to test their capabilities.
9:30 PM: American President Joe Biden has agreed to have a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin if Russia does not invade Ukraine, said White House Jen Psaki. United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is schedulted to meet on 2/20. The Summit is being pushed by French President Emmanuel Macron.
