1:10 AM: Russian forces by land and sea closed in on Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital city. Ukraine’s President vowed to not evacuate and ever surrender.

4:11 AM: Tens of thousands Ukrainian refugees are attempting to leave the country and go to Poland, where they have been warmly welcomed so far.

7:42 AM: Russian military have gotten near 2 Ukrainian cities and are being met with intense street fighting. A missile hit a residential building.

8:30 AM: The Ukrainian President said they are repelling the Russian onslaught.

9:40 AM: United Kingdom forces have joined other NATO troops in Eastern Europe to bolster NATO forces in Eastern Europe.

10:05 AM: United Kingdom has canceled the visas of Belarus’ national basketball team since Minsk allowed the Russian military to invade Ukraine through Belarus.

10:32 AM: Anonymous has claimed responsibility for hacking into some of the Russian government websites to knock them off the internet. Anonymous said they were working “to keep the Ukrainian people online as best we can.”

10:44 AM: 4 more countries joined United Kingdom, Poland, Moldova and the Czech Republic banning Russian airlines from flying over Russian airspace. The countries of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania joined the ban.

10:55 AM: USA Today is reporting that an United States military official has said that Russians are “increasingly frustrated” with their lack of progress in Ukraine. There has been no evidence that Russia has taken control of any city or has achieved air superiority.

10:59 AM: Wall Street Journal reported that Ukraine forces repelled a Russian assault on Kyiv and are preparing for the next assault. Ukraine forces and fresh new volunteer recruits regained control of Kyiv streets after Russian troops and undercover units dressed as Ukrainian civilian clothes tried to enter the city.

2:23 PM: The Governor of New Hampshire ordered the removal of all Russian liquor from New Hampshire’s liquor and wine stores.

4:15 PM: Governor Mike DeWine from Ohio has ordered the state’s Commerce Department to stop the purchase of Russian Standard vodka, which is the only Russian-owned vodka manufacturer sells in the state.

5:45 PM: Canada, European Union, United Kingdom and the United States plan to cut off some Russian banks from the SWIFT financial network. This is the latest tactic to paralyze the financial activities of Russia’s central bank.
