Stocks Went Up for the Day
The Dow Jones Industrials Average rose 1%, Nasdaq rose 2% and the S&P 500 rose 1.1%.

The S&P 500 rose 0.1% and the Nasdaq rose 0.5%, but the Dow Jones Industrials Average fell 0.4%.
The stocks fell across the board: DJI 0.7%, Nasdaq 1.7% and S&P 500 0.8%. This came on the heels of the news of the Consumer Price Index rose 16.2%.
10/19/2021-Stocks rose again: the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite up 0.7% and the Dow Jones Industrials went up 0.6%.
