Prattville, Al- A 14 year old is facing charges following a 40 mile car chase along I-65. Alabama state troopers tried to pull over a stolen Ford Expedition on I-65. The vehicle refused to pull over, and the pursuit continued for nearly 40 miles. When he arrived in Prattville, he struck several vehicles. The state troopers and the Prattville police used spike strips. The Expedition crashed into 2 other vehicles at an intersection. Besides the 14 year old driver, the juveniles were an 11 year old, a 12 year old, two 13 year olds and another 14 year old. The juvenile driver is being charged with receiving stolen property in the first degree, first degree assault, speeding, attempting to elude and reckless endangerment. Some of the juveniles were reported runaways in Morgan County and are being looked at for church vandalism in October.
