Hall of Fame NFL coach John Madden has died at the age of 85. Owner Al Davis hired John Madden in 1969 to be the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. His record was 103-32-7 and he won the Super Bowl XI against the Minnesota Vikings. He began his announcing career in 1978 at CBS. Madden won 16 Emmy Awards throughout his announcing career. He was enshrined in the NFL Hall of Fame known 2006. Madden also was honored with a slew of NFL video games using his name and voice.
