12:24 AM: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has declared Martial Law and urges it’s citizens not to panic.

12:49 PM: Ukraine was invaded from Belarus who is not a part of Russia.

1:13 AM: The Russian Ruble fell 5.4% to a record low. the Moscow Exchange suspended trading on all markets.

4 AM: The Russian military vehicles were seen on security cameras in the Ukraine invading the country from Crimea.

5:08 AM: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that they have severed all diplomatic ties with Russia.

5:22 AM: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that around 40 people have been killed in the Russian invasion and several dozen are injured.

6:30 AM: NATO plans to beef up their defensive forces in their Eastern Europe flank.

7:30 AM: NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has described the attack as a “deliberate cold-blooded and long-planned invasion. Russia is using force to try to rewrite history.”

8:48 AM Former President George W. Bush said about the Russian invasion, “unprovoked and unustified invasion of the Ukraine. Bush also called the assault as “the gravest security crisis on the European Continent since World War II”

9:20 AM Kyiv, home to over 2.8 million people, city officials have urged people to take shelter amid of an air threat detected near the area.

9:30 AM Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kulero has urged countries to “hit Russia with severe sanctions now” and to assist the country with military and financial support.

10:03 AM United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense reported more than 80 strikes against targets all over the Ukraine amid the ongoing Russian invasion.

10:13 AM: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Russian forces were trying to take the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the northern part of Ukraine.

12:52: PM: Officials announced that Ukraine no longers has control of the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant site, which is 80 miles NW of Kyiv. Cherbobyl disaster occurred in 1986.

1:15 PM: Russian Defense Minister Igor Konashenkov said its ground forces are in Ukraine. They are in Kherson which is northwest of Crimea.

6PM: Over 160 missiles have landed in the Ukraine. The Ukrainian President has said all men from ages of 16-60 cannot leave the country. Russian forces took control of an air base near Kyiv. Ukraine announced 137 soldiers were killed and 316 injured.

6:24 PM: Ukraine ordered full military mobilization to counter the invasion.

10:58 PM: Russian forces renewed bombing Ukraine in the early morning hours with the capital city of Kyiv rocked by explosions.
