According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, All Elite Wrestling has released Rey Fenix. Johnson has said that Fenix, “is now a free agent” and his picture has been removed from AEW’s website roster page.
It has been long rumored that he wasn’t happy in AEW. His brother, Penta El Zero Miedo, left AEW recently and is now in WWE. The duo were former AEW Tag Team Champions as the Lucha Brothers.
